Bidoriq ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a hashed value — never in plain text).

Usage Data

We collect the job posts you submit for proposal generation, the proposals generated, your chosen settings (tone, length, model), and general usage metrics (generation count, timestamps).

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card details. Stripe shares only subscription status and billing metadata with us.

Technical Data

We may collect IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve our proposal generation service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset, billing receipts)
• To prevent fraud and ensure platform security
• To comply with legal obligations

3. AI Processing

Your job posts are sent to Anthropic (Claude) and/or OpenAI (GPT-4o) APIs to generate proposals. These providers process your input according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your proposals to train any AI model.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party services necessary to operate Bidoriq:

• Anthropic / OpenAI – AI proposal generation
• Stripe – Payment processing
• Resend – Transactional email delivery
• Supabase / PostgreSQL – Database hosting

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Proposal history is retained according to your plan (Free: 7 days, Paid: unlimited unless you delete them). You may request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Bidoriq is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Bidoriq after changes constitutes acceptance.
